There is a war raging between exponents of cash gifting and, well, I would say all other forms of online marketing and home based business.. It seems that the general consensus is to condemn cash gifting at all costs. It really is surprising to me the vitriol and bile that is constantly spewed at gifting on a daily basis.

What especially irks me is these characters that are always looking out for the interests of the government or government agencies. What happened to helping your fellow man? The attacks seem to be especially vicious on the cash gifting mentors. The only motive I can think of for such malice would be jealousy - why else would they want to purposefully tear down another human. Many times I have read about people who are not involved with any private cash gifting club threatening to report participants to the authorities. I have even seen an MLM salesman equate cash gifting with selling drugs! Really - is this all necessary?

The phrase "can't we all just get along" springs to mind. We are living in a world where our basic freedoms are being eroded in front of our eyes, and the really distressing part is that we ourselves are speeding and ushering in this reality.

It is time for us to band together and help each other, not to trample and destroy one's perceived "competition" in pursuit of the almighty dollar..

Automated Cash Gifting Programs?

There are more and more cash gifting programs popping up all over the net utilising terms such as "auto-pilot", "hands-off" or "we contact your prospects so you don't have to" to flog their gifting opportunities. This causes me no little discomfort, as for me it brings back painful and costly memories.

AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE! I was sucked in by a cash gifting system that prided itself on these so-called "automated" qualities.

Fast forward four months and four thousand bucks. The results were - to put it mildly - somewhat less than inspiring. The official site was littered with big promises, but through my own experience I realised that practically none of them were worth the paper they were printed on. I had just had an expensive and extremely time-consuming lesson.. The reality is that unless you are the creator of these "automated" gifting clubs, success will prove very elusive indeed.

Which brings me to my point. Cash gifting is based on people giving to people, so doesn't it stand to reason that this endevour should be conducted person to person? Now I know it is true that some folks are better at dealing with people than others - but do we all not interact with strangers every single day? Whether it be in the shopping mall, out in the street or in the workplace, I would guess nearly everyone has some kind of encounter with a person unknown to them.

So you see even if you believe yourself to be not the best communicator, the chances are that you already convey yourself more than adequately without even knowing it.

For the most part, aside from some basic questions, those that are making enquiries about cash gifting just want to be assured they are dealing with someone worthy of their trust.

Let me be blunt.. In this author's humble opinion if you do not want to build a relationship (for mutual benefit I might add) with your prospective and/or current team members, then you have no business being involved in a real cash gifting program. Remember, your team is the vital lifeblood. Without them you have nothing.. I don't think it's too much to ask for a little face-time when they need it.

In the initial stages of my cash gifting journey, I received a phonecall from a very high profile SEO company. The package they offered me was crazy - they revealed to me the results of past and current campaigns for some of their top clients which were unbelievable! The deal was for a six month contract in which they would manage all of my SEO requirements and ensure first page listings on a minimum of 20 and maximum of 80 keywords/phrases such as cash gifting, best cash gifting programs, legal cash gifting etc in the six major search engines. Now let me explain to you that among this group's clients were some extreme heavy-hitters, in fact some of the largest firms on the planet. This was truly a sweet deal.

The scary part for me was going to be finding out how much damage would be inflicted on my wallet. Honestly, they were dealing with multi-million, in some instances billion dollar corporate monsters - how could I afford such a budget?

I won't go into actual numbers, but when I ultimately got a figure I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Now I'm not saying it was five hundred dollars or something, but considering the service on offer here it was well within my boundaries. Basically a very tempting proposition indeed.

I know that you are invariably thinking "So Dave if it was such a great service, howcome you are not gracing the first pages of the search engines for the keywords you talked about before?" That is a fair question dear reader - one which has a very straightforward response..

Because I turned it down.. Why? Perhaps if I belonged to a different system like MLM, affiliate marketing or things of that nature I may have said yes. While it appeared to be an awesome strategy at first glance, my gut-feeling told me this was not the right path to take with cash gifting. How could I explain to new members of my team to handle their online marketing? Tell them to go to said firm and dump thousands into a campaign they couldn't use anyway because I already owned it - just after the initial gift that in most cases they had to work their little bottom's off for? No. From the very start my mind was set on the direction I wanted (or needed) to go. I wanted a design that my guys could follow easily to big things.

Choosing a great mentor is paramount to your success in gifting so find one who is willing to do the hard yards for you. This is what seperates the average from the exceptional..

If you searched for me in Yahoo or Google you will invariably come across my Facebook and Myspace pages, or possibly my Twitter page and some of my music (I used to make electronic music). You may well also find various articles I have penned on healthy eating & living.

This is not what I need you to focus on however. In the past I have written quite a few articles on various forms and techniques of internet marketing, ranging from traffic generation to attraction marketing, MLM and blogging and the wonders of web 2.0 (social media sites like Facebook and Myspace). The snag is at the time I never really understood any of them enough to be teaching others these subjects.

In the online marketing industry I'm convinced most of you know that we are commonly trained to place ourselves as experts in any given arena, not to really BE one. Hey don't get me wrong, if that's what you do then cool - more power to you, but this tactic forever left me feeling like I was being a little deceptive or misleading. This I believe was the main cause of my many failings as an internet marketer, my mindset. I was undermining my own success as deep down I thought of myself as unreliable and dishonest. And then purely by luck I stumbled upon a cash gifting program and everything changed..

Stop Bashing Cash Gifting!

Why is everyone so down on cash gifting? You know what? I have found that the large percentage of people bad-mouthing cash gifting just happen to be promoting their own internet marketing offers..

Online marketers into MLM seem to love trashing cash gifting. The standard arguments include screams of "ILLEGAL!" and "PYRAMID!" or "SCAM!", among many others.. Let's define an MLM system shall we? Basically it means you must recruit people under you, who in turn recruit people under them, who in turn employ people under them, and so-on and so-on ad nauseum.. To me this business model follows - oh I don't know - a pyramid?! All businesses, regardless of size, operate in this way, the top takes nearly all the profit while the rest dribbles down through the pyramid. If you are into MLM thats fine - I am not lambasting the entire industry - I am just sick of them bashing cash gifting when I honestly believe most of them know nothing about it.

I was a member of the Warrior Forum, a meeting place that many in the internet marketing world are familiar with. Incredibly I was banned for life for commenting on a cash gifting thread! Note I said for commenting - not promoting. The reason they gave was that I was "spamming". I ask you how could I be spamming when I didn't have a link in my comment? So much for free speech..

I suppose the moral behind this little rant is that I believe people should do their research before attacking someone else's bread and butter.
